Providing state-of-art scientific expertise, advanced mass spectrometry technology, training and services in the area of mass spectrometry, particularly metabolomics, proteomics and native MS.
Located at C8 building, in two 100 sqm purpose built labs for MS (reinforced floor, enhanced air renewal, climatization, UPS, nitrogen and compressed air)
- Lab 8.2.33, dedicated to sample preparation, GC-MS and HPLC analysis
- Lab 8.2.46, dedicated to extreme resolution (FT-ICR-MS) and native mass spectrometry (Q-TOF-MS)
- Room 8.2.36, with data analysis computers, MS library, archives, houses the infrastructure personnel
Biochemist, more than 20 years’ experience in mass spectrometry, mainly interested in the development of extreme resolution FT-ICR MS and its application to protein characterization by top-down, native MS and human metabolomics
Molecular biologist, focused on extracting biological knowledge from mass spectrometry data, most notably, pathway analysis and plant metabolomics through extreme resolution FT-ICR mass spectrometry and other experimental techniques
Analytical chemist, expert in FT-ICR mass spectrometry as well as chromatographic methods and hyphenated techniques like GC-MS and LC-MS. Experience in organic molecule characterization, beverages and natural products
Experience on high resolution MS, GC-MS and LC-MS
